Requirements for use in Senegal

On 23 March 2023, The Apostille Convention entered into force for Senegal. This means that documents to be used in Senegal no longer require legalisation by the Embassy of Senegal in London.

Most documents to be used in Senegal will need to be notarised and apostilled. Certain documents can be apostilled directly without needing notarisation. In the UK, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is the only body authorised to issue apostilles.

Our expert team can help you through the process of getting notarisation and an apostille. Contact us today to get started.
