• An original veterinary document signed by a vet. The vet must be registered with the Department of Food and Rural Affairs

If you received a physical wet ink signed document, this can be apostilled directly by the FCDO.  

Alternatively, if you didn’t want to submit your original document, we can make a photocopy and notarise the copy.  The notarised copy can then be apostilled at the FCDO.

We always recommend checking with the ultimate recipient of the veterinary document as to whether they would require the original or if a copy would be acceptable.

If you only received an electronically issued veterinary document, we will need to verify it is authentic, and then notarise the electronic copy provided to you.  We can then submit the notarised copy to the FCDO to be apostilled.
