Matthew Boyd is a Notary Public and is also qualified as a Solicitor (England & Wales) and Attorney and Counselor-at-Law (New York State).
Between 2012 to 2016, Matthew worked for a mid-tier German law firm between their Singapore and Vietnam offices specialising in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and – between 2019 and 2024 – worked as a Solicitor and Attorney-at-Law for a boutique law firm with offices based in Guangzhou, China and Singapore.
Matthew is available to meet clients during weekdays and on Saturdays (by prior appointment) either at our Canary Wharf office or in the surrounding area (including City of London).
Outside of the office Matthew’s interests include history, politics, reading, cycling, golf and exploring new countries / places.

The Canary Wharf Appointment Process
Step 1: Book Your Appointment
To get started, contact us by calling or emailing us. Share details of your requirements, and we may ask you to send scans of the documents you need notarised. Based on your information, we’ll advise on the process, provide a quote, and schedule your appointment.
Step 2: What Happens Next
At the Canary Wharf office, we operate an appointment-only service. Once your appointment is confirmed, we’ll guide you on what to bring and prepare for the day. If necessary, we can also arrange to visit you at your home, office, or another location for added convenience.
Step 3: Preparing for Your Appointment
Before you arrived, you’ll be asked to complete a Client Registration Form via email When at the appointment you’ll be asked to present the required identification. Please review our ID requirements beforehand to ensure you bring the correct documents.
Step 4: During Your Appointment
Your documents will be notarised while you wait, with appointments typically lasting between 15 and 30 minutes. Once completed, we’ll take payment and hand over the notarised documents. A scanned copy can also be emailed to you for your records.
If your documents require Apostille or Consular Legalisation, you’ll leave them with us. We’ll notify you once the process is complete.
